Families and individuals abroad
Non Resident Indians
Living outside India — with property, family, or a proceeding that has brought you back to an Indian forum.
Kavao Law advises non resident indian (NRIs), individuals, families and businesses living, investing and inheriting across two or more jurisdictions — with one point of coordination and full command of the Indian side of the matter.
Kavao Law is a cross-border legal practice handling matters connected with India, the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, Western Asia, and other jurisdictions. We work with foreign nationals and international businesses, foreign lawyers and law firms, and with overseas individuals and families, including Non Resident Indians (NRIs).
The founder and principal counsel of Kavao Law graduated in Law in India in 2002 and was admitted as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Punjab & Haryana, Chandigarh. He was admitted as a Solicitor of England & Wales in 2008 through the qualifying route for foreign lawyers, having completed the course of study from Oxford Brookes University, London. Those qualifications are personal to the individual concerned and do not imply that the firm, every team member, or any entity personally holds them. Kavao Law was formerly known as NRI Law Offices and its lawyers are serving the clients in India and abroad since 2003.
